Problem #3) The biosconfigutility (latest version 2.60.3) doesn't work on this computer in default created windows PE boot disk. This is a work environment where the machines are wall mounted and keyboard/mouse are not an option. The Elite 8300 MUST have touch control, but only with 1 finger no frills, no panning, no penflicks, and no multi touch. I would like to disable these features in group policy, but I am unsure in what keys etc to set/unset in the registry. The problem comes in when we have users that have their own individual domain account, when these users log in they are set to default touch features, this causes a lot of help desk work and confusion for the end users. The end users that are sharing a domain account are easy to set the touch features because they do not change users(network). Most end users use a common log-in to the network. The set up we use requires us to turn off, Panning, multi-touch, and Pen flicks because it causes problems for the end users when entering data. I am working on deploying 100 HP Elite 8300's for use tracking electronic medical records. ![]()
